What’s Included?
Our Programs
Twinkles
Under 12 Months
Our Twinkles Room is designed to provide a warm, nurturing environment where your baby feels safe, loved, and supported. Through sensory-rich experiences and personalised care, we foster early development, helping each infant build strong foundations for future learning.
Moonbeams
(1-2 Years)
Our Toddler Program encourages active exploration and discovery in a safe, stimulating environment. Through play-based learning, we support toddlers as they develop social skills, independence, and confidence while nurturing their curiosity and creativity.
Comets
(2-3 Years)
In our Comets group children develop an interest in their world through many opportunities to explore and play. We encourage the children to be active participants in their own learning and provide the children with the tools and resources to support this in both the indoor and outdoor environments. Running an indoor\outdoor program within the room also fosters the children’s ability to self-regulate their own behaviours.
Starbrights
(3-5 Years)
Our Preschool / Kindergarten Program prepares children for their transition to school by focusing on building essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. Through engaging, hands-on activities and collaborative play, we empower children to express themselves, think critically, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
Meet Chloe
DIRECTOR
-
Hi, I'm Chloe, the Centre Director. I've been at Oakdowns since I was a Trainee at 17, and have worked my way up, studying as I go. My greatest achievement by far are my two daughters, Matilda and Daisy who I share with my husband Brayden.
I chose Early Childhood Education as my career to ensure the service I am at provides high quality care to all children and families. My passion is events and community involvement.
Meet Cody
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
-
Cody first started her childcare journey at Oakdowns Early Learning Centre as a Trainee studying Cert Ill in Early Education and Care.
Once completed Cody moved straight on to studying her Diploma in Early Education and Care, completing this in September 2020.
Cody has now been with the Oakdowns crew since May 2015.
Cody has worked throughout most age groups and was a room leader in Moonbeams, Comets and Assisted Maryka in her room leading role in Starbrights.
After leading the Comets Classroom Cody was given the opportunity to apply for an assistant directing role in August 2021 which she was successful in.
Cody spends most mornings within the Classrooms.
Cody is passionate about children learning in their own individual way and supporting the social, emotional & physical wellbeing of children. Cody is also passionate about families entrusting educators within the service with their children and supporting a smooth transition back into work and supporting her team in a great work life balance.
Outside of Cody's role she enjoys adventures, walking and family time. Cody and her husband enjoy going camping with their dog Max.
